Mr. Quigley's Sire and Dam Mr. Quigley's Dam - La Hija Ultima Ultima's beautiful pinto coloring comes from the nationally recognized "Estaban" line of Paso Finos and she also carries bloodlines from the well known "Flint Oak" and "Sin Par" lines of Pasos. Both her sire, Ultra Estaban, and dam, Flint Oak Magic, are Champions at Regional Paso Fino shows. Serafin - Ultima's 2005 Filly To show you the quality of Ultima's foals, we have included a photo of her beautiful filly. "Mr. Quigley" has raised Ultima's color-producing record. It was 75% before this colt was born, now 80% of her foals have pinto markings - even though she has been bred to solid colored stallions every time. What an awesome mare! Ultima's maternal grandsire, Majestuoso, held multiple National Championships and was on the Paso Fino Horse Association's Top Ten Sire list many, many times between 1985 and 1996. He has sired offspring that are National Champions in Bella Forma (conformation and gait in hand), Classic Fino, Performance & Pleasure. Mr. Quigley's Sire - Julio Claro Julio Claro, sire to Ultima's 2008 foal, is a young Palomino-colored Paso Fino stallion we have been watching, and waiting until his owners offered breedings to outside mares. In addition to his gorgeous color, Julio has a strong smooth gait, very gentlemanly manners, and correct conformation. Julio's bloodlines have a strong Puerto Rican Paso heritage through his sire Nino del Companero who traces back to Maridel's parents' foundation stallion Carlitos and foundation mare Velera. Nino is proven as a sire of excellent Trail and Pleasure Pasos. Photos courtesy of Hacienda de los Ninos. Julio Claro is 3 years of age in these photos. |
