Ride the West Horse and Ranch Expo 2008

This was the 6th year that members of the Northwest Paso Fino Horse Association participated in this exciting and crowd pleasing equine event. We have been an integral part of the Paso Fino exhibits and demos each year.
Throughout the 3-day event we answered many questions about the Paso Fino breed, met fellow Paso Fino owners and fans of the breed and shared our passion for these wonderfully smooth gaited horses. Expo manager Susan Rae and her husband Rick expressed their continued appreciation for the NWPFHA's support and participation in Ride the West.
Trainer Sarah Oswald of Westwind Ranch Paso Finos, rode our mare Rebelita in the Paso Fino Breed Presentation and Demonstrations. It was Rebelita's first time to be part of such an event and she did very well.
Rebelita and Sarah on the first afternoon of the Expo while the Paso Fino riders were practicing for the drill they would perform for the evening "Spirit of the West" program.
The Spirit of the West performance was given under the lights in the indoor arena, complete with music, narration, and a nice dash of audience appreciation. The Northwest Paso Fino Association and our wonderful horses were crowd favorites once again!
